Yes, this is about...Dada...One of the best Cricketer India has ever produced. I can go on listing what this man has done for Indian Cricket in his 16 yrs of Cricket career, be it building a team for 2003 world cup finals or winning highest number of matches abroad. There will be no end to this man's achievements or contribution and it is uncomparable to any other act.
Yet, all his contibutions were in vain, agreed that his current form was not the best and definitely there are better players than him to play for India at this time. But still the way he was made to quit was definitely not the best and definitely this person deserves much more respect rather than humiliation.
I was hurt to see the way he was made to quit out of the team. He definitely was a Hero, A Soldier and he deserved much much respect and a better Farewell.

What Next.....??? Will this Ever Stop!!
Enough is enough, its heights now... few hours after Delhi blasts, intelligence Agency of India claimed that operation BAD is completed. It didn't stop here Narender Modi was quick enough to take this opportunity and blamed the UPA, for not taking right measures even though he had informed MM Singh that next blasts would take place in Delhi. It’s not the first time we have heard Intelligence agency saying this, immediately after the blast we would hear IA speaking first and claiming that it already had the information for the blasts.
Once that is done political drama starts, nobody is bothered about the victims, what should be the next actions so that no other city becomes a victim, so that no more families are destroyed overnight. I feel ashamed that it is we who have elected these people and we have given ordinary people extraordinary powers.
The point here is when will this political drama end, will it ever??

Should India be Part of Olymipcs..
China & Tibet issue have made some international news and so did Olympics 2008, only because 2008 olympics are held in China...targeting the olympics for this issue..how fair is it?
How Should India react to this?
Should it allow the Olympic torch?
There is already a lot of debate on this issue and we saw ..aamir and saif opting in favour of the torch at the same time..one of indian athlete opted out from carrying the torch..so did rahul gandhi.
In my personal opinion I have mixed kind of opinion on this issue, on the postive side Olympics is an international game and other than China, the entire world participate in it. It is unfortunate that China is hosting this year olympics, given the fact that china has not been fair to the tibetians..it is not the only country that will be effected if we ban olympics for this year. This would be indeed a insult to the game.
Having said this how fair is it for the entire world to celebrate under the name of olympics while tibetians are fighting for peace and justice?

Is Cricket going the commercial way…?
Cricket- A game which is religion to most of the people in India and a fascinated sport for some 10-12 other cricket playing nations. To me it’s a sport where 2 or more competes and one wins the trophy, I think most of the cricket spectators love to watch cricket when their country is playing in the tournament barring some exceptions like India Pakistan matches and some of the Australian matches. It doesn’t matter whether my country wins or loses but something that keeps me bounded to TV while the match is live is a hope that my country should win it gives a feeling which make me feel proud that my country plays the best cricket in the world. That’s the way the game is …
In 2008 I see the face of the game changing and actually taking a different route rather than cricket being an entertainment sport it is becoming more commercial with the upcoming IPL league from BCCI, where teams and talented cricketers across the globe are being bought by industrialists and some of the rich people in India just to increase their wealth and of the cricketers.
I feel this affects the cricket at an international level because for this league to be successful BCCI would need room from ICC calendar for its matches & it would not be a surprise if BCCI dictates ICC for this being one of the richest cricket board in world which means less international cricket and infact more commercial cricket the reason I say its commercial is I would not enjoy watching domestic teams fighting against each other rather I would love to see India play at international level and win matches.

Manmohan Singh - Successful Economist & Failure Politician
Manomhan Singh
He is known as liberator of Indian Economy . He is credited with transforming the economy in the early 1990s during the financial crisis. He was hand picked for the Finance ministers office in 1991 during the term of P.V. Narsimha Rao as a Prime minister, before that he served as the Governor of RBI from 1982-85. He entered the post when the Indian economy was stuck in a quagmire -- its foreign exchange reserves were near rock bottom, and the country was close to defaulting on its international debt.
He brought number of economic policies in India's capital markets to put back India on the path of Globalisation, some of the reforms that were made during his term was the removal of "License Raj" where people have to wait for Government approvals before starting with any buisness, he streamlined the SEBI guidelines and set a path for direct foreign investments in the Indian market where FIIs can directly invest in to Indian markets....It was after this Indian Markets saw huge amount of influx from the FII. This is evident from the fact that the total foreign investment in India grew from a minuscule US $132 million in 1991-92 to $5.3 billion in 1995-96(nearly 50 times).
Based on the facts and figures stated above there is no doubt that Manmohan singh is a very successfull economist and also yields a very high amount of respect across the world.......
As a Politician
This man has huge number of degrees from very high profile universities which I think no other Prime minister before had and along with that he also carries huge amount of experience with him under the white long beard which he has gained after serving for more that 3 decades in different government posts, so there is no doubt that this man is highly qualified for the role of a Prime minister which he took over in 2004 May, lot was expected of this man when he took over the office, but a very little of the expectations actually fulfilled, in spite of the fact that under his regime India’s GDP is growing at the rate of 9% per year. I feel that this man has actually achieved a very few as a PM than as a FM in 1991.
Some also say that he is a good economist but not a politician. Narayan Murthy once in a interview said that he(Manmohan Singh) is leading a very fragile coalition…I think this one line from murthy says a lot and actually answers the question why was this man not successful as a Prime minister inspite of his capabilities.
Following are some of the questions that remain unclear to me.
1. Does this imply that however capable the person sitting at the top is he wont be able to make a difference to the system until and unless the people with him are also supportive enough?
2. If the answer to above question is Yes, then with the completely corrupted politics in India how will India see a great change and how can it become a superpower?
3. Is it possible to form a political party by plucking some of the highly qualified and successful bureaucrats that India have produced and will this party be able to make India a superpower successfully.
