China & Tibet issue have made some international news and so did Olympics 2008, only because 2008 olympics are held in China...targeting the olympics for this issue..how fair is it?
How Should India react to this?
Should it allow the Olympic torch?
There is already a lot of debate on this issue and we saw ..aamir and saif opting in favour of the torch at the same time..one of indian athlete opted out from carrying the torch..so did rahul gandhi.
In my personal opinion I have mixed kind of opinion on this issue, on the postive side Olympics is an international game and other than China, the entire world participate in it. It is unfortunate that China is hosting this year olympics, given the fact that china has not been fair to the tibetians..it is not the only country that will be effected if we ban olympics for this year. This would be indeed a insult to the game.
Having said this how fair is it for the entire world to celebrate under the name of olympics while tibetians are fighting for peace and justice?

Hi Sashi, nice discussion of both sides of the coin. You should take a stand somewhere. merely discussing does not quite indicate what you think.
I have not taken a stand on any of the side for a reason...I was unable to, I was able to justify from either of the sides...It was an open ended question...the intention was to see what others think of it??
